Enhanced by our beautiful weather, individuals and families can golf (Citrus Springs has 2 championship courses - there are 14 in Citrus County), fish, snorkel, scuba dive, boat, sail, canoe, hike, bike, horseback ride, bird watch and more. See the manatee in Homosassa or watch a magnificent sunset over Fort Island Beach in Crystal River. 

The Withlacoochee State Forest was named one of the Top 10 Coolest Places You've Never Seen in North America by the World Wildlife Fund. The forest is home to hundreds of species of wildlife and is situated just a few miles south of Citrus Springs. Whatever out door activity you could imagine (that doesn't involve snow) we have it here.
